I paint in oil paint on canvas or wood and generally in series.
In my more recent work I am painting domestic objects set within a landscape. The paintings have a dreamlike soft focus, sometimes even quite obscured, as if they are shrouded in a veil. The idea for this current series came about during lockdown when one evening i stood at my garden door looking out at the garden and the sunset beyond. Reflected on the glass were objects in my kitchen in pools of light.
