South Coast Printmakers is a collective of artist printmakers working in a variety of mediums who live in East Sussex and Kent.  Formed two years ago to promote the art of printmaking, it aims to enhance the understanding and appreciation of printmaking to a wider public through exhibitions or special events.

The prints are diverse in style and uniqueness and are often experimental in nature.  Shown together they demonstrate how successful printmaking is as a fine art form in responding to and interpreting the world around us. Each printmaker is driven by a desire to integrate imagery with a narrative thread, or to capture the beauty of the sea or surrounding landscape.
