I have always been inspired by nature, and since relocating to the East Sussex coast, the sea and coastline has mesmerised me. I often walk along the coast, and feel the need to express what I see.

I am drawn to light, textures and the movement and colours of the sea. I take lots of photos when walking along the coast and sometimes make small sketches. These are my starting points. However, I am not inspired to paint from photos taken by other people, I need to have the experiences myself.

I use a variety of media, mixed or otherwise whatever helps me to express what I see.
