I hope to evince an ongoing fascination with the resonant effects created by light and space in a variety of contexts - responding to the exotic and mundane, be it life in Hastings and St Leonards or further afield.

Using bold, vivid colours I aim to create a sense of drama and atmosphere which complement and liberate the restrictive lines of a subject.

Quite simply, this is my 'take' on the places in which I live, work and travel, and the subjects that inspire me to paint.
