My work concerns the human figure in a variety of settings. Recurrent themes include personal relationships, the world of the dispossessed and marginalized, the life of dreams, cafés, musicians, through the juxtaposition of images assembled both intentionally and also by chance.  Among my sources are my drawings and photographs, newspapers, books, film, together with imagined figures and those who emerge from unintentional marks.

I work mainly in oils, on canvas, board and paper.

I have a studio in Steyning, West Sussex.
