At present my art practice is about ‘doing’.  I stretch canvas,
prime the area I want to paint and then start blocking in areas of
strong primary colours.  This is the start of a dialogue between
myself and the painting: an art dialogue between myself and
the painting.  It is a dialogue informed by what is going on around
me, conversations I’m having, music I’m listening to, the weather,
my mood and most importantly what has gone before…

A continual sequence of outpouring of paintings that develop
and change, move backward and forward.  It is what I do.

What it all means or amounts to I’m not sure but sometimes it
makes me catch my breath!
