Photohastings present an exhibition by Jeremy Llewellyn-Jones
“We live in a fractured world; division constantly chips away at our desire and opportunities to connect and bond. That being so the monochrome panoramas are made up of 24 or 28 separate, almost fractured images which are then merged into one timeless photograph for us to scan. The freezing of brief moments of division are forged into a seamless landscape of unity. But not everything is as it seems. A global pandemic and splintered politics casts an almost post-apocalyptic shadow across our future as we look outwards where the sun, literally and metaphorically struggles to pierce the clouds – perhaps a glimpse back to where it all began. Some respite comes with the colour images, faint signs of hope despite swimming close to the rocks and against the tide.”
