Folio 14 are a group of ten local artists who meet on a fortnightly basis throughout the year. The group has been established for three years under the watchful eye of Jo Kori, both tutor and mentor. We meet and work at Jerwood Gallery in the studio, where we all first met Jo Kori at a workshop that she was taking, many moons ago.

The aim of the group is to come together openly to explore, exchange, investigate and experiment with new ideas, mediums and materials. The workshops are exercise based, which evolve and stimulate each member in their own individual work. We have our own Facebook page, which stimulates ongoing discussion, and where Jo and the group can all see each other’s work.

The group has a diverse artistic and creative background, and includes interior and landscape designers, architects, costume designers and art teachers, as well as practising artists, including David Reeve, who has exhibited previously at Hastings Arts Forum. We have all become very good friends and have a wonderful working relationship. It is about time we had a serious exhibition.
