This theme has now become a tradition for Hastings Arts Forum and we will be hosting the third curated exhibition opening on 7 February 2017 at the gallery. Stains and Traces was an original idea of former chairmen, Ian Welsh who sadly passed away in 2014 and is based on ‘representing the presence or absence of a figure as well as anthropomorphic echoes and resonances’.
This exhibition is an open submission and work will be selected by a panel of artists. We are looking for submissions in any media that reflect issues concerning the human form – or, conversely its absence.
If you would like to submit your work for consideration for this exhibition, or if you would like to discuss your application please email the exhibitions team exhibitions@hastingsartsforum.co.uk with Stains and Traces in the subject header giving your contact phone number and someone will contact you.
The deadline for enquiries is 5 December 2016 with the final deadline for applications being 19 December 2016.
